mendhi traditionally an outfit worn on the day bride is prepared for the wedding day with oils and turmeric, which has evolved into an event in itself for women only. the outfits have also become more elaborate as the events have become bigger events,but garments are usually simple for the bride because she receives preparation treatments and henna designs this day

the mendhi outfit matching the flower girl outfit, although these do not need to be the same. I just think its a really novel idea especially if there is a really close member of the family which you would like to be the flower girl.
